Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by TCR Business Services LLC dba Tex’s Computer Repair (“TCR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Services Provided
TCR provides IT support, computer repair, data recovery, networking, structured cabling, remote support, copier and printer services, web design, accounting services, and AI/process automation consulting. Specific service offerings and pricing are detailed on our website and may be updated from time to time.
Service Agreements
- In-Shop Repairs: By leaving your device with us, you authorize TCR to diagnose and repair your device. We will provide an estimate before proceeding with any repair work beyond the initial diagnostic.
- Onsite & Remote Services: By scheduling an onsite or remote session, you authorize TCR to access your devices and systems as necessary to provide the requested services.
- Managed IT Contracts: Business clients on managed service plans are governed by a separate written Managed IT Service Agreement that supersedes these Terms where applicable.
Data & Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Our handling of your personal information and data is governed by our Privacy Policy. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, TCR is not liable for data loss that may occur during repair processes. We strongly recommend backing up your data before any service. Data recovery services are provided on a best-effort basis. If no data on your device needs to be saved, we also require your signature confirming that.
Device Responsibility
- Devices left for repair must be picked up within 30 days of completion notification. After 30 days, TCR may dispose of unclaimed devices at our discretion.
- We will return any cables and accessories brought in with your device, and we note them on your paper invoice.
- Customers must remove passwords or provide access credentials necessary for repair. TCR cannot be held responsible for inability to service locked devices.
Warranty on Repairs
- Labor Warranty: Repair labor is warranted for 30 days from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within this period, we will re-service at no additional labor charge.
- Parts Warranty: Parts are warranted per the manufacturer’s warranty terms. TCR will assist with manufacturer warranty claims but is not the warranty provider for third-party parts.
- Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damage caused by user negligence, accidents, viruses/malware acquired after service, or issues unrelated to the original repair.
Limitation of Liability
TCR’s liability for any service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service. TCR is not liable for consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption resulting from services provided or delays in service completion.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of TCR Business Services LLC and may not be reproduced without permission. Software licensed during service remains the property of its respective owners.
Third-Party Services
TCR may recommend or use third-party products and services in the course of providing our services. We are not responsible for the performance, warranty, or support of third-party products. Manufacturer warranties apply to all third-party parts and software.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Onsite and remote appointments may be canceled or rescheduled with at least 4 hours’ notice at no charge.
- Special-order parts are paid for in full before ordering and are non-refundable.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
